Ladies 3rd XI 0 v South Glos 2nd XI 10

21/11/15:  Continuing with Mendip’s theme of successful attacking play, Saturday was an opportunity to increase their goal difference in the league. By halftime Mendip had managed six goals, with a view to keep a clean sheet to the end of the game. South Glos did manage to break through the midfield a few times but with not enough numbers to  particularly worry the Mendip defenders. Any advances were dealt with calmness and style, playing the ball through the ranks for another 4 goals in the second half. Hattricks were scored by Sarah Pearce and Maddie Collins, with Amy McGowan, Abbie Sage and player of the match, Ella Constable all contributing to a great show of team play.
