19/09/15: A new-look Mendip 3rds welcomed the relegated Redland team to Norton Hill for the first match of this season’s Brunel league fixtures. This was the first taste of ladies’ league hockey for half of the Mendip squad where perhaps some inexperience allowed Redland to dominate, especially in the second half. However there was plenty of skill, strength and determination on show which promises better scorelines over the next twenty fixtures.
