Entering the last stages of this year’s league where each team in the Brunel division 3 play each other three times, Mendip put in another strong performance against South Glos 2nds to bring the tally to 2 wins and 1 loss. Yet again Mendip’s expansive play put South Glos on the back foot with Jasmine Scott and Madison Collins both scoring in the first half.
Despite South Glos starting the second half with renewed vigour, Mendip defence were unbreakable, with defender Sarah James taking the vote for player of the match. Emma Moffat scored the third goal to put the match out of reach for the visitors.
